Auckland

Kia Oro people!

Here we are safe and sound and done with our first day in NZ!  Great weather, brought the sun.  Long flight.
Did a lot of walking around Auckland today, got the lay of the land; spending tomorrow on a hop on hop off explorer bus to get around and see the sight, the next day we're taking the ferry over to an unpronounceable island.  Should be fun.  Don't know when I'll be able  to post again, but I'll try soon!

D-Day

And we're off!  Plane leaves at 6:45 pm, next stop, Auckland. Feeling pretty nervous, Kirk is really excited, I'm sure I'll be more excited when we're back on  the ground!

3 days to go till New Zealand. Goodbye winter, helloooo Summer!
